The Centre for Christian Spirituality was initiated by Bishop Desmond Tutu.
The Centre offers opportunity for individuals and groups to discover God through contemplative prayer and meditation by offering retreats and spiritual direction leading to social action. We run regular retreats, quite days and events and are currently offering a Men’s Project in Pollsmoor Prison and through regular workshops.
The Centre is registered as non-profit organisation. Registration no.: 021-503 NPO.
Spirituality means more than the personal or even corporate prayer life of the individual. It embraces the whole of life
